Thread whirler for the production of metric and imperial threads. The thread milling cutter cuts the pitch from bottom to top (thread helix) to produce a full thread. Thread whirling cutters have their advantage when milling small and medium threads. The thread milling cutter can be used to mill different thread sizes, e.g. M2.5 to M4, which saves the need to change tools. The milling cutter can therefore also be used on machines that do not have a thread cutting function.
